Super Fast Charging on supported Galaxy phones

Samsung's own 25W adapter, which is the one Galaxy phones are tuned against. Browse the alternatives in chargers and adapters.
PPS stands for Programmable Power Supply, and it is the part that matters more than the wattage. A normal charger offers a few fixed voltages and the phone picks one. A PPS charger lets the phone request a voltage in small steps and change it continuously as the battery fills. The result is less heat inside the phone, and heat is what wears a lithium battery out. This is also the mechanism Samsung's Super Fast Charging depends on — without PPS a Galaxy phone falls back to ordinary Power Delivery and charges more slowly.
Standard charging runs at 5V and up to 3A. Fast charging steps up to 9V at 2.77A, and PPS operates across 3.3–5.9V or 3.3–11.0V depending on what the device asks for. You do not need to know any of that to use it — the phone and the adapter negotiate it between themselves — but it is the reason the same adapter can safely charge earbuds and a tablet.
The input range is 100–240V, so it works anywhere in the world with the right plug shape. It is not Samsung-only either: anything that accepts USB-C Power Delivery will charge from it, including iPhones, iPads and Nintendo Switch.
No warranty term is published for this adapter through our supply route, so we state none. Our returns policy covers a unit that arrives faulty.

Assume not, and plan to use your own USB-C cable. For 25W Super Fast Charging on a Galaxy phone the cable must be rated for 5A — an ordinary 3A cable will work but caps the speed, which is the most common reason people think their adapter is faulty.
Yes. Any device that accepts USB-C Power Delivery charges from it, including iPhones, iPads and a Nintendo Switch. You need the right cable for the device — USB-C to Lightning for older iPhones, USB-C to USB-C for newer ones.
It lets the phone request a voltage in small steps and adjust it continuously as the battery fills, instead of picking from a few fixed levels. That produces less heat inside the phone, and heat is the main thing that ages a battery.
Yes. The input range is 100 to 240 volts, which covers every mains supply in the world. You only need a plug shape adapter for the socket, not a voltage converter — those are two different things and people often buy the wrong one.
Not necessarily. Phones draw only what they are designed for, so a 45W adapter charges a 25W phone at 25W. The higher rating only helps if you also charge a laptop or a tablet that can use it.
