The straightforward pair in Awei's T range — no gaming mode, no cancellation, just a well-specified set of earbuds that sit in a drawer for a fortnight and still work. Compare it across our earbuds and TWS.
Standby is how long the earbuds hold charge doing nothing. It gets ignored because it sounds like a number that does not matter, and then you pick up a pair you last used a fortnight ago and find them dead. Two hundred hours is over eight days of sitting idle in the case with charge still available. If your earbuds are for occasional use — a commute twice a week, a flight now and then — this is a more relevant figure than playtime, and it is the specification that separates the T51 from its siblings.
The T50 shares the same 10mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.3, IPX6 rating and identical 35mAh earbuds in a 300mAh case. The T50 gives seven hours of talk time against this one's five, and publishes a one-hour case recharge. The T51 gives the 200-hour standby. Heavy daily caller, take the T50; occasional user, take the T51.
ENC uses the microphones to separate your voice from background noise before it is transmitted, so your caller hears you rather than the street. It does not reduce noise for you. For that you want active cancellation, which in this range only the T53 offers.

Because it decides whether earbuds you last used a fortnight ago still work. Two hundred hours is over eight days idle in the case with charge left. For occasional use that is more relevant than playtime.
Same drivers, Bluetooth, IPX6 and battery cells. The T50 gives seven hours of talk against this one's five, plus a stated one-hour case recharge. The T51 gives 200 hours of standby. Daily caller against occasional user.
It separates your voice from background noise before transmitting, so your caller hears you rather than the street. It does not reduce noise for you — that is active cancellation, which only the T53 in this range provides.
No low-latency figure is published for the T51, so we have not listed one. The T28 Pro quotes 30ms and the T29 Pro and T53 both quote 65ms if a gaming mode is what you are after.
Yes. IPX6 covers powerful water jets from any direction, so heavy rain and sweat are well within it. It is not an immersion rating, so no showers or swimming, and the case carries no rating of its own.
