The most completely specified pair in Awei's T range — everything from the chipset to the individual cell capacities is published. Compare it across our earbuds and TWS.
Awei quotes six hours of music and seven hours of talk. Normally it is the other way round, because music playback is a continuous full-bandwidth load while a call is lower bandwidth with natural pauses. If you spend more of your day on calls than listening to music, that seven-hour figure is the one that matters and it is better than most earbuds at this price manage. The case recharges in about an hour, which is quick — many take two or three.
The T50 lists DNS call noise reduction; the T51 lists ENC. These are vendor names for the same function: using the microphones to separate your voice from background noise before transmitting it, so the person on the other end hears you rather than the traffic. Neither reduces noise for you — that is active cancellation, which only the T53 in this range offers.
Both are Bluetooth 5.3 with 10mm drivers, IPX6 and identical 35mAh earbuds in a 300mAh case. The T50 gives seven hours of talk time and a stated one-hour case recharge. The T51 gives five hours of talk but quotes 200 hours of standby. Take the T50 if you talk a lot, the T51 if the earbuds sit unused for days between uses.

Because music is a continuous full-bandwidth load while a call is lower bandwidth with natural pauses. It is unusual to see it published this way round, and it makes the T50 a good choice if you spend your day on calls.
A vendor name for call noise reduction — the microphones separate your voice from background noise before transmitting. The T51 calls the same function ENC. Neither reduces noise for you; that is active cancellation, which the T53 has.
They share drivers, Bluetooth, IPX6 and battery cells. The T50 gives seven hours of talk and a one-hour case recharge. The T51 gives five hours of talk but 200 hours of standby. Talk time against standby.
No game-mode latency figure is published for the T50, so we have not listed one. The T28 Pro quotes 30ms and the T29 Pro and T53 both quote 65ms if gaming is what you are buying for.
Yes. IPX6 covers powerful water jets from any direction, which comfortably includes heavy sweat and rain. It is not an immersion rating, so keep them out of the shower and away from pools.
