The only pair in Awei's T range with active noise cancellation, and it keeps the 65ms gaming mode alongside it. Compare it across our earbuds and TWS.
The T53 has both, and they are routinely confused. Active cancellation works on what you hear: microphones sample ambient noise and the earbuds play back its inverse, which removes steady low-frequency sound like traffic and engines while doing much less about speech. DNS call noise reduction works on what your caller hears, isolating your voice from the background before it is transmitted. Every other pair in this range has the second but not the first — if blocking out a commute is why you are shopping, this is the one.
Sixty-five milliseconds of game-mode latency puts it level with the T29 Pro, behind the T28 Pro's 30ms. Below about 40ms delay stops being perceptible, so 65ms sits at the edge of noticeable for competitive play and is fine otherwise. Having cancellation and a gaming mode together is unusual at this price — most pairs make you choose.
Around six hours of playback and seven of talk time, with IPX6 covering powerful water jets, heavy sweat and rain. Note that cancellation draws power continuously, so running it will pull those figures down — every ANC pair pays that cost. The charging case carries a starry-sky gradient light.

ANC removes noise from what you hear, using microphones to cancel ambient sound. DNS removes noise from what your caller hears, isolating your voice before transmission. The T53 has both; the rest of the T range has only DNS or ENC.
Enough to take the drone out of traffic, a bus or a fan. Much less against people talking, because speech is irregular and higher pitched. That limitation applies to every ANC pair regardless of price.
Yes. Running ANC means microphones and processing working continuously, which draws power. The six-hour playback figure will fall with cancellation on, as it does on every pair of noise cancelling earbuds.
Yes, at 65ms — level with the T29 Pro and behind the T28 Pro's 30ms. Having cancellation and a gaming mode in one pair is unusual at this price, where you normally have to pick one.
Yes. IPX6 covers powerful water jets from any direction, which comfortably includes heavy sweat and rain. It is not an immersion rating, so avoid showers and pools, and keep the charging case dry.
