Open-ear clip earbuds with 10.8mm dual-magnet drivers, Bluetooth 6.0, 35-hour battery and 90% less sound leakage.
Open-ear clip design — stay aware of your surroundings
10.8mm dual-magnet drivers with a carbon fibre diaphragm
7.5 hours per charge, 35 hours total with the case
Four microphones with AI filtering and wind noise reduction
App support with multipoint and a 5-band custom EQ
Bluetooth 6.0, IPX5 water resistance
The longest single charge of QCY's open-ear clips, with app control and a carbon fibre diaphragm behind it. Compare it across our earbuds and TWS.
Nothing enters your ear canal — the driver sits just outside it, clipped over the ear. You hear traffic, conversation and announcements, which makes this the safe option for running on roads and the comfortable one for a long working day with none of the plugged-up pressure sealed tips create. The trade-off is real in the other direction too: less bass, because a seal is what lets low frequencies build pressure, and no isolation on a noisy bus. Open-ear is a different product, not a worse earbud.
Both are clips with the same 10.8mm dual-magnet driver. The C30S adds LDAC and Hi-Res certification, claims better leakage reduction, and uses a nickel-titanium frame at under 5g. The C50 gives you 7.5 hours per charge against 6, four microphones with AI filtering and wind reduction, and app support with a five-band custom EQ and multipoint. Audio certification against battery life and control.
QCY states directional audio cuts leakage by 90 per cent — a manufacturer figure we have not measured, though directional designs do work by aiming sound at your ear rather than radiating it. Four microphones with wind noise reduction handle calls, which matters on an open design used outdoors.

Same driver size. The C30S adds LDAC and Hi-Res certification, claims better leakage control and is lighter. The C50 gives 7.5 hours per charge against 6, four microphones and app EQ with multipoint.
Some leakage is unavoidable with any open design. QCY claims directional audio cuts it by 90 per cent, which is a manufacturer figure we have not measured. At normal volume in a normal room it should not disturb anyone.
Yes, and that is physics rather than a fault. A sealed tip lets low frequencies build pressure in the ear canal; an open design cannot. If bass is your priority, a sealed in-ear pair will always do it better.
Safety and comfort. You hear traffic, conversation and announcements, which makes it sensible for running on roads. There is also none of the plugged-up pressure that sealed tips cause over a long working day.
A five-band custom equaliser and multipoint pairing, plus firmware updates. The EQ matters more on an open design than a sealed one, because you may want to lift the low end that the open fit inevitably loses.
