An open-ear clip that leaves your ear canal completely free, with LDAC and Hi-Res certification behind it. Compare it across our earbuds and TWS.
Nothing goes into your ear canal. The driver sits just outside it, clipped over the ear, so sound reaches you through open air. The consequences are worth understanding before buying, because they are real in both directions. You hear everything around you — traffic, conversation, an announcement — which makes this the safest option for running on a road and the most comfortable for a long working day, with none of the plugged-up pressure sealed tips create. Against that, you get less bass, because a seal is what lets low frequencies build pressure, and no isolation at all on a noisy bus. Open-ear is a genuinely different product rather than a worse earbud.
The obvious worry with open-ear is whether people around you can hear your music. QCY's answer is Directional Audio 3.0, which it says reduces leakage by 99.5 per cent — that is a manufacturer figure we have not independently measured, but directional designs do work by aiming sound at your ear rather than radiating it. The frame is nickel-titanium alloy, a shape-memory material that flexes and returns rather than deforming, at under five grams per earbud.
LDAC carries roughly three times the data of standard Bluetooth audio at 96kHz and 24-bit, needing a recent Android phone; iPhones fall back to AAC. Bluetooth 6.0 handles the link. Six hours per charge and forty in total, with ten minutes giving an hour back.

Some leakage is unavoidable with any open-ear design. QCY claims Directional Audio 3.0 cuts it by 99.5 per cent, which is a manufacturer figure we have not measured. At normal volume in a normal room it should not disturb anyone.
Yes, and that is physics rather than a fault. A sealed tip lets low frequencies build pressure in your ear canal; an open design cannot. If bass is your priority, a sealed in-ear pair will always do it better.
Safety and comfort. You hear traffic, conversation and announcements, which makes it the sensible choice for running on roads. There is also none of the plugged-up pressure sealed tips cause over a long day.
Yes. Apple does not support LDAC, so on an iPhone these fall back to AAC. Everything else works on both platforms, but the Hi-Res 96kHz capability is what iOS users will not be able to use.
It is a shape-memory alloy, meaning it flexes under pressure and returns to its original form rather than staying bent. On a clip that grips your ear repeatedly, that is what stops the fit loosening over months of use.
