The display

1.43 inches at 466 × 466 pixels, AMOLED, full touch. AMOLED matters here for two reasons: blacks are genuinely black, so the watch face blends into the bezel, and only lit pixels draw power, which helps the battery on mostly-dark faces.

Prayer times

The i28 Ultra includes a built-in Muslim prayer time function, set through the COLMI Fit app. Having it on the wrist rather than the phone is the practical difference — a glance rather than unlocking a device.

Battery and build

COLMI rates the 260mAh battery at five to seven days of typical use, charging in about two hours over a two-pin magnetic cable. Heavy use of the display and continuous heart rate tracking will pull that closer to the lower figure. The case combines zinc alloy with ABS and PC, and carries an IP68 rating covering both dust and water. Heart rate is handled by a VC30F sensor on the underside of the case.

How long does the battery really last?

COLMI rates it at five to seven days of typical use from the 260mAh cell. Heavy use of the always-bright display and continuous heart rate tracking will shorten that. A full charge takes about two hours.

Does it work with an iPhone?

Yes — iOS 8.0 and above, paired through the COLMI Fit app. Android 4.4 and above and HarmonyOS are supported too, so it works with almost any phone still in use.

How do the prayer times work?

The function is built into the watch and configured through the COLMI Fit app on your phone. Once set, times show on the watch itself without needing to unlock your phone.

Can I swim with it?

IP68 covers dust and immersion in fresh water, so it survives handwashing, rain and a splash. We would not recommend it for laps in a pool or the sea — an ATM rating is the one designed for swimming.

What is the magnetic strap like day to day?

It closes by folding the strap back on itself rather than through a buckle, so it goes on one-handed and adjusts anywhere along its length instead of at fixed holes.
