Description

Awei P52K 10000mAh Magnetic Wireless Power Bank

A power bank that sticks to the back of your phone and charges it without a cable, while still offering 22.5W wired output when you want speed. Compare it across our power banks.

Magnetic charging, and its honest cost

Snap it onto a compatible phone and it charges while you keep using the device — no cable trailing, no need to put the phone down. That is a genuinely different experience from a bank sitting in a bag. The cost is efficiency: wireless charging loses energy as heat crossing the air gap, so you get meaningfully fewer charges wirelessly than you would over a cable from the same 10000mAh. Expect roughly half the nominal capacity to reach the phone wirelessly, against around sixty per cent wired. That is not a fault of this bank — it is what wireless charging costs on every device that does it. Use the magnet for convenience and the cable when you actually need the charge.

The wired side is properly specified

USB-A runs up to 5V/4.5A for 22.5W-class fast charging, and Type-C offers 5V/3A, 9V/2.22A and 12V/1.67A. Recharging the bank itself accepts up to 12V/1.5A over Type-C, which is faster than the 5V input most banks at this capacity limit themselves to. A Lightning input at 5V/2A is also provided.

Which phones the magnet works with

It grips MagSafe-compatible iPhones directly. Android phones need a magnetic ring or a case with one built in, otherwise the bank will charge wirelessly only if positioned by hand and held there — which defeats the point. The P78K offers the same magnetic approach at 20000mAh.

Questions and answers
Will the magnet stick to my Android phone?

Only with a magnetic ring or a case that has one built in. The magnets are designed for MagSafe-compatible iPhones. Without a ring, wireless charging works only if you hold the bank in place, which defeats the purpose.

Do I get fewer charges wirelessly?

Yes, noticeably. Wireless charging loses energy as heat crossing the air gap — expect roughly half the nominal capacity to reach the phone wirelessly against around sixty per cent over a cable. Use the magnet for convenience, the cable for capacity.

What does 15W wireless actually mean?

It is the top tier of four, and the phone negotiates which applies. Fifteen watts is the maximum for magnetic wireless charging on most phones. Slower tiers exist for devices that cannot accept the full rate safely.

How fast does the bank itself recharge?

Up to 12V at 1.5A over Type-C, which is faster than the 5V-only input most banks at this capacity accept. That matters on a bank you will be recharging often because wireless use drains it more quickly.

Is there a larger magnetic option?

Yes — the P78K in the same range offers magnetic wireless charging at 20000mAh, double the capacity. It is the better choice if you want the magnetic convenience without running out of charge as quickly.
