Description

QCY MeloBuds N20 ANC Wireless Earbuds

Three-device multipoint and spatial audio in a 4.6-gram earbud — the N20 is specified around convenience rather than raw codec numbers. Compare it across our earbuds and TWS.

Three devices at once is the standout

Almost every pair of earbuds tops out at two simultaneous connections. The N20 holds three, which means a laptop, a phone and a tablet can all stay paired and the earbuds switch to whichever starts playing. If you move between devices through a working day, that third slot removes a genuine daily irritation. Bluetooth 6.0 makes it possible and also brings a 0.06-second low-latency mode — 60 milliseconds, comfortably fast enough that games and video stay in sync.

How it differs from the N20 Pro

These two share the same 13mm driver and 50dB cancellation rating, so the choice is about what sits around them. The N20 Pro adds LDAC for high-bitrate audio and four selectable cancellation modes. The plain N20 gives you 360-degree spatial audio, the three-device multipoint and lighter 4.6g earbuds. If codec quality on an Android phone matters most, take the Pro; if you juggle devices, take this one.

Battery and water resistance

QCY rates ten hours per charge with cancellation off and forty in total, falling to 7.5 and 30 hours with cancellation running. Publishing both figures is more useful than most brands manage — the ANC-on number is the one you will actually live with. IPX4 covers sweat and light rain but is not an immersion rating.

Questions and answers
Can it really hold three devices at once?

Yes, which is unusual — most earbuds manage two. A laptop, phone and tablet can all stay paired and the earbuds switch to whichever starts playing. If you move between devices all day, that third slot genuinely helps.

Should I buy the N20 or the N20 Pro?

Same 13mm driver and 50dB rating. The Pro adds LDAC and four cancellation modes. The plain N20 gives spatial audio, three-device multipoint and lighter earbuds. Codec quality against device juggling.

How much battery does cancellation cost?

QCY publishes both numbers: ten hours becomes 7.5 with ANC on, and forty total becomes thirty. Most brands only quote the flattering figure, so having the realistic one stated is worth noting when you compare.

What is 360-degree spatial audio?

Processing that widens the soundstage so audio seems to come from around you rather than between your ears. It works best on content mixed for it, and is a matter of taste — some people prefer the untouched stereo image.

Can I wear them at the gym?

Light training, yes. IPX4 covers sweat and light rain, which is the lower end of what an active pair should have. For heavy sweat or outdoor running, an IPX5 or IPX6 model is the safer choice.
