Over-ear wireless headphones at an entry-level price
Lighter, simpler sibling of the W35 Max
Two colours: black and silver
Straightforward Bluetooth pairing, no app required
Specification limited to what we can confirm — see below
The entry point of Hoco's W35 line, sitting below the W35 Max. Compare both against the rest of our headphones.
Hoco sells the W35 as two models. The W35 Max is the fuller specification — a 40mm driver, an 800mAh battery, a metal telescopic headband and AUX and microSD playback alongside Bluetooth. The Air is the lighter, cheaper one. If the documented specification is what you are shopping on, the Max is the model to read about, and the price gap between them is small.
Hoco publishes very little verifiable detail for the Air specifically, and much of what circulates online is the Max's specification attached to the Air's name. We are not going to repeat that. The specification table above lists only what we have confirmed, which is why it is short. Driver size, battery capacity and playtime are not in it because we could not verify them for this model — not because they do not exist.
This is a sensible first pair of wireless over-ear headphones, or a spare to leave at a desk or in a bag. At this price the realistic expectation is competent, comfortable sound for casual listening and calls, not the detail or isolation of something several times the cost. If you want the numbers on paper before buying, spend a little more on the Max.
No warranty term is published for this model through our supply route, so we do not state one. Our returns policy covers a faulty unit.

Because we only publish figures we have verified. Much of what circulates online for the W35 Air is actually the W35 Max's specification under the wrong name, and we are not going to repeat it. What is listed above is confirmed.
The Max is the fuller model — a 40mm driver, an 800mAh battery, a metal telescopic headband, and AUX and microSD playback as well as Bluetooth. The Air is the lighter and cheaper one. The price gap between them is small.
If you want documented specifications before committing, buy the Max — we can tell you exactly what it does. Choose the Air if you want the least expensive competent over-ear pair and are not shopping on numbers.
No active cancellation is claimed at this price. An over-ear design gives you some passive isolation just from the earcups covering your ears, which helps with steady background noise but is a different thing from active cancellation.
No warranty term is published for this model through our supply route, so we do not state one rather than guess. Our returns policy still covers a unit that arrives faulty or dead on arrival.
