Seventy watts on its own, or 140 watts as a genuine stereo pair if you buy two. That second option is what separates the KA18 from the rest of the range. Compare it across our speakers and soundbars.
A single speaker of any size cannot produce stereo. Left and right channels need two physically separated sources, so a one-box speaker is always summing them into mono no matter what its marketing says. TWS pairing gives you the real thing: one KA18 becomes the left channel, the other the right, and the soundstage opens up in a way that simply adding volume does not replicate. For music with any width to it, this is a bigger upgrade than another twenty watts would be.
The KA15 shares the same 70W four-driver array and the same 3600mAh battery. The KA15 plays from USB drive and TF card and quotes a two-hour recharge. The KA18 offers the TWS pairing and a wider stated frequency response. One point of honesty: Awei quotes about seven hours to recharge the KA18 against two for the KA15, despite the same battery. We have not verified either figure and cannot explain the difference, so treat the charging time as the one specification here to confirm before you rely on it.
The housing is splash-resistant and the battery is rated at around six hours at half volume. Six hours at half volume means considerably less at full, which is how every speaker playtime figure works.

It is different in kind, not just louder. A single speaker sums left and right into mono because stereo needs two separated sources. Pairing two gives a real soundstage, which for most music is a bigger upgrade than extra volume.
That is Awei's stated figure, and we cannot explain why it differs from the two hours quoted for the KA15 with the same battery. We have not verified either. It is the one specification here worth confirming before you depend on it.
The KA18 if you might add a second unit for stereo, since that is the bigger upgrade. The KA15 if you want faster recharging and playback from USB drive and TF card. The 70W array itself is the same on both.
At half volume, yes. Run it near maximum and expect considerably less, because drain scales with output. Every speaker quotes its favourable figure, so plan around the loud case rather than the rated one.
It is splash-resistant rather than weatherproof. Brief rain while it is playing is survivable; leaving it outside overnight or through a storm is not. Bring it in and dry it off rather than trusting the housing.
